I am Malian, project manager based in Sévaré, Mopti Region/ Mali-West Africa.                   

Academic Background:

Secondary teaching Degree at Ecole Normale Supérieure (ENSUP) of Mali in 1988 after primary, secondary, high school and university studies.

Work experience:

Permanently worked in education sector from 1990 to 2018 as:

  • Teacher in Teachers’ training Institute, and private high schools in Bamako (5 years: 1990-1994).
  • Education Coordinator and Pedagogic Advisor in an ILO (International Labor Organization) funded non- formal education Program in Bamako (8 years/1996-2003), with a Government Organization called ACODEP.
  • Project Manager with an NGO consortium Enda Tiers Monde Mali/Winrock International, to combat child labor and trafficking in Segou Region/Mali 2004-2005.

At CARE Mali from 2006 to 2018:

Education specialist, Field Coordinator, Project Manager in the Education Program focused on combating child labor and trafficking, girls’ leadership and empowerment through innovative education.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Project designing;
  • Technical and financial management, staff management.
  • Partnerships/synergy development with Government, local/International NGOs, Civil Society members, women and community actor groups;
  • Advocacy/community mobilization;
  • Technical supports to Monitoring, evaluation and learning unit;
  • Sustainability process development;
  • Reporting/documenting.
