Kjartan Sorensen

Kjartan Sorensen is a specialist in private sector development, having managed various economic governance projects on business climate reform, investment promotion and entrepreneurship in North and Sub-Saharan Africa for more than ten years. Between 2009 and 2014, he was based in Morocco, Burkina Faso and Tanzania working for the United Nations. Currently based in New York, Kjartan has, together with FHI360, been researching how governments can use information to make better policies and predictions on the evolution of job markets to improve employment opportunities. A Danish citizen, Kjartan grew up in France and holds a BA in economics and political science from McGill University (Canada) and a MSc in international development and business studies from Roskilde University (Denmark).
